Candidate Data & Privacy
KodeQualify Candidate Rights Charter · Effective July 2026
At KodeQualify, candidates come first. You deserve full transparency into what data is recorded during your technical assessment, how it is evaluated by potential employers, and how to exercise your rights to inspect or delete your records.
1. Proctoring & Recording Disclosures
Depending on the employer's test configuration, the following assessment signals may be logged:
We record keystrokes to render code replay for hiring reviewers. Retained for 90 days then automatically purged.
Logs when the browser window loses focus. We do NOT access external tabs or personal browser history.
If requested by employer, snapshots are processed locally via WebRTC and stored in encrypted S3 buckets.
2. Anti-Bias & Algorithmic Transparency
- Scorecard Assist metrics evaluate runtime test pass rates and algorithmic efficiency — never age, gender, race, or geographic location.
- Candidates may request blind code grading where candidate names and email addresses are masked from reviewers.
3. Self-Serve Candidate Data Request Portal
Exercise your right to export your code submissions or permanently purge your assessment history across all employers.
